Funeral services for Tony Richmond Chastain, 68, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, were held Oct. 30, 2025, at Arkana Baptist Church, near Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Pastors Link Fuller and Shannon Byrd officiating. Burial was at Quality Ridge Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Jim Gifford, Mike Sweatnam, Lee Southerland, Terry Batterton, Mike Lawrence and Eric Rowbotham. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Dean Hopper, Dwayne Roberts, Todd Cowart, Joey Estes and Luke Walker.

He died Oct. 26 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born Nov. 3, 1956, in Blue Ridge, Georgia, the son of Talmadge and Opal McCall Chastain. He married Patricia "Patti" Wiley on May 8, 1998. Tony dedicated 34 years to Baxter Lab and worked as a senior technician. He was a member of the Arkana Baptist Church and Beaver Lake Beagle Club. His love for music began early; at just 14, he joined the Ozark Quartet as a bass player and continued sharing his musical talent with many bands throughout his life. Tony found joy in the simple things: fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors.

Tony is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patti Chastain of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, Kyle Reese of Fort Smith, Arkansas; daughters: Allison (Bo) Parks of Clarkridge, Arkansas, Kaycee Dunn of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Lacee (Chris) Bales of Bakersfield; brother, Layne (Cheryl) Chastain of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters: Jane (Keith) Byrd of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Trish Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Matheson; son, Kevin Reese; and niece, Jessica Chastain.

Memorials may be made to Arkana Baptist Church.
