Susan Ann Earnhart Babb, 72

Susan Ann Earnhart Babb, 72, of Tecumseh, died Jan. 3, 2024, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. No service is planned, as she requested.

She was born in 1951, to Dorothy and George Earnhart in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Susan, known affectionately as "Nana," embraced the joys and challenges of life with excitement, laughter and unwavering love. In July 1969, Susan married Charles Babb, both saying “I do” in the back of a sporting goods store. Their life together was full and rich.

Although her loved ones are in a time of grief, they urge those who knew her to remember the joy she brought to their lives, the laughter she shared and the love that will continue to live on in their hearts. They find peace in knowing she is reunited with her beloved Charles. 

Susan is survived by daughter Denise Stubbs and husband David of Tecumseh; grandchildren Elizabeth Stubbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Hannah Willis and husband John of West Plains and Charlie Stubbs of Tecumseh; and great-grandchildren Emmy, GradieMae, Elliot and Hudson.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
