Shirley Joann McCracken, 81
Funeral services for Shirley Joann Collins Driskell McCracken, 81, of West Plains, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Visitation services will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, also at Robertson-Drago. Burial will be at Howell Valley Cemetery.
She died Dec. 28, 2023, at NHC HealthCare.
She was born March 14, 1942, to Earl Collins and Lela Freeman Collins. Shirley received her education in the schools of Dora and Houston, Missouri.
On July 14, 1962, she married Paul Driskell. She spent her working years at International Shoe Factory and Wal-Mart. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Mrs. McCracken was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her three sons: Greg Driskell and wife Lois, of West Plains, Kevin Driskell and wife Vickie, of West Plains and Brad Driskell and wife Laura, Mountain Home, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Gina Davis and husband Chris, Amanda Collins and husband Clayton, Jordan Driskell, Megan Gordon, Annabelle Driskell, Joe Walker and Andrew Dees; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband and one daughter-in-law Denise Driskell, preceded her in death.
