Rosella Clayton, 79

A memorial service for Rosella Clayton, 79, of Wasola, was held July 21, 2023, at Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava with Pastor Stan Collins and Pastor Dan Cottengim officiating.

She died July 18, 2023, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Rosella was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Squires, to Cecil and Iva (Degase) Turner. She married Wilford Clayton on Dec. 14, 1963, in Ava. Rosella enjoyed watching westerns, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosella is survived by her son Bill and his wife Kellie Clayton; her daughter, Lisa Bland; three grandchildren: Trisha, Shawna and Zachary; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Turner and his wife Audrey; two sisters: Marsha Collins and her husband Stan and Becky Cottengim and her husband Dan; and many other relatives and friends.  

Rosella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilford Clayton; son, Randall Clayton; two sisters, Norma Frye and Vonda Cantrell; and two grandchildren, Abigail and Joshua.
