Polly Ann Ousley, 84

Graveside funeral services for Polly Ann Ousley, 84, of Gainesville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, in the Sallee Cemetery. Officiating will be Davin Friend. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, Oct. 24, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville. 

She died Oct. 21, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. She was born June 13, 1939, in Ozark County to Harrison and Iva (Lawson) Friend.

Polly had five children: Sue Bushong, Barbara Davidson, Robert Davidson, Rex Davidson and Randy Davidson. On Nov. 29, 1975, Polly married Wayne Ousley in Gainesville, and the couple spent 40 years together until his passing in 2016. They raised their family in Alton, Winona and Ava. Polly retired from Emerson Electric in Ava. She continued to live in Ava for several years before moving to Gainesville. She loved flowers and always had them surrounding her home. She attended Lilly Ridge Church on Sundays. Polly loved to visit with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter Sue Bushong and husband Mike of Gainesville; one son Randy Davidson and wife Terri of Hartville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sallee Cemetery.
