Morris Olen Anderson, 73

A funeral for Morris Olen Anderson, 73, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. 

He died Feb. 2, at his home with his wife and son at his side. 

He was born Sept. 24, 1948, at Norfork, Arkansas, the son of the late Ross and Lucille (Parnell) Anderson. 

After graduating from Norfork High School, Morris made his career as a welder with Boilerrmakers Local of Kansas City. He continued that career until he retired. 

He met the love of his life, Ann, in Mountain Home in 1994 and together they began a life and created a precious blended family. 

Morris enjoyed riding his Goldwing trike, traveling and going to casinos, but more than anything, he loved time at home with Ann riding his four-wheeler, feeding deer, watching birds and enjoying his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. 

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Ann; six children: daughter Kimberly Anderson of Springfield, son John Anderson and wife Kristi of Mountain Home, as well as his four bonus children: Shanna Dutchover and husband Chris of Mountain Home, Dustin Ellison of Shawnee, Oklahoma, DJ Ellison and wife Britany and Shelby Ellison of West Plains; 14 grandchildren: Kyle and wife Jasmine, Ashley, Dalton, Madison, Mason, Cooper, Paisley, Brayli, Bowen, Boone, Hailee, Aubrey, Hoyte, and Arianna; and one great-granddaughter Haven. He is also survived by his sisters Sue Wilson of Rogers, Arkansas, and Barbara Queen of Gassville, Arkansas; his sisters-in-law Theresa Pate, Annette Lane and husband Paul and Jackie Hanson and husband Steve; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend Lenny Lee.

Morris is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; two sisters: Shirley Whitaker and Patricia Forbus; his in-laws Jerry Levine and Paula Galbreth; son Dakota Ellison; nephew Josh Lane; sister-in-law Jennifer Robinson; and brother-in-law Steve Wilson.
