Marilyn Sue Weaver, 69

A celebration of life for Marilyn Sue Weaver-Osborn-Lowe, 69, of Willow Springs, was held Feb. 7, 2026, at the Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs.
She died Jan. 31, in Theodosia after a very long and difficult battle with sarcoma cancer.
Marilyn was born to Melvin (Bud) and Ollie Faye Collins Osborn on Dec. 8, 1956. She was raised in Twin Bridges and attended Dora School. Marilyn married Jackie Lloyd Lowe on Sept. 24, 1976. They were married until Jackie died on Aug. 17, 1986.
After this union, she moved to Willow Springs, where she resided for the past 50 years.
Marilyn worked at the West Plains Shoe Factory for 19 years. After her work at the shoe factory, Marilyn was a part of the first graduating class in the respiratory therapy program at Ozarks Healthcare Hospital. She worked as a respiratory and sleep therapist for OZH and Texas County Memorial Hospital for 22 years.
In her younger years, Marilyn played softball with enthusiasm and skill, often outplaying the many men she played with and against. Marilyn also enjoyed many hobbies, especially sewing and quilting. She was the kind of person who never knew a stranger. One of her favorite things was to play pranks on her brothers by enlisting the help of her children. Even though she was always friendly, Marilyn could chew you up one side and down the other if you made her mad. Above all, Marilyn loved her family deeply and often brought them up in conversation.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Lowe Adams and Dustin Wallace of Theodosia; grandkids: Drew Adams (Navy), Reece Adams (Army), Preston Adams and Kamryn, Kori and Kynlee; brothers Donnie and Jeanne Osborn of Pomona and Randy “Pete” Osborn of Twin Bridges; in-laws Janice Osborn of Twin Bridges, Ovene Roberts, Lorene Lowe, Lonnie and Tillie Lowe, Jeannie Lowe, Bonnie and Randy Wood, Floyd & Kathy Lowe of Willow Springs; nieces and nephews Jessie and Dawn Green, Jeff and Jessica Green of Twin Bridges, Angie and Kelly Hunter of West Plains, Derek “Pup” and Gwen Osborn of West Plains, Beth Ann Osborn of Twin Bridges, Kyle and Demittra Wiegand of Rogersville, Jason and Amanda Osborn, Justin and Kristy Osborn of Pomona, Jason “Jake” and Jenni Clinton of Willow Springs, Dalen and David Crossley of South Fork; lifelong friends Jane Belt of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Judy Brixey of Willow Springs; along with many more nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
