Lisa Jean Belt, 61

Graveside services for Lisa Jean Belt, 61, of West Plains, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, at Elijah Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Belt died at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 26, at her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1964, in Gainesville, to Onard Hambelton and Elma Friend Hambelton. On Jan. 2, 1981, she was married to Sidney Belt in Gainesville.
Lisa enjoyed painting, being outdoors, going to the river or lake, gardening, fishing, collecting and painting rocks and looking for arrowheads. She loved helping others. Lisa was a great mom and the best Nana. She lived a life full of love and adventure. Lisa was a strong and determined woman who loved her family dearly; to know her was to know love.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Belt, of the family home; three children: Michael Belt and wife Sara of Bakersfield, William Belt of Caulfield and Bethany Stone and husband Darren of Rockbridge; three grandchildren and one on the way: Andrea Fowler and husband Nathan of Moody, Brandy Belt and fiancé Jacob Brashear of West Plains and Gunner Pate Stone of Rockbridge; her mother, Elma Hambelton; two brothers: Guy Hambelton and wife Doris and Floyd Hambelton, all of Gainesville; two sisters: Nora Perry and husband Lonnie of Salem, Arkansas, and Teresa of Caulfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Her father and one brother, David Hambelton, preceded her in death.
