Janet D. Hannaford, 84
Janet D. Hannaford, 84, of Gainesville, died on March 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born on April 18, 1941, in Gassville, Arkansas, to Kenneth and Helen (Dilbeck) Sanford.
On Jan. 27, 1959, Janet married the love of her life, Jerry Hannaford. To this union, two sons were born, Kent and Christopher.
Janet is survived by one son, Kent Hannaford of Gainesville; two grandsons: Kenny Hannaford (Kalyn), and Kyle Hannaford; three granddaughters: Jade, Evelyn and Kenzie; and her faithful companion of 15 years, her little dog, Midnight.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hannaford; one son, Christopher “Chris” Hannaford; three siblings, Larry Joe, Coneta and Eddie; and her parents, Kenny and Helen Sanford.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
