James Theodore “J.T.” Scott, 77

James Theodore “J.T.” Scott, 77, of Enumclaw, Washington, died Dec. 10, 2021. No local services are planned at this time. 

J.T. was born on May 17, 1944, to Clarence and Viola Scott in Pratt, Kansas. His parents moved to Longrun in 1947, where he spent his childhood years. He attended Barefoot and Lutie Schools.

At the young age of 17, J.T. headed out west to California and worked at his brother’s auto shop before discovering his calling for the aerospace industry. He was a superb welder and became a master at this craft. 

J.T. joyously welcomed his daughter Lisa into the world March 28, 1964. He was an incredible devoted father. 

On June 26, 1982, he married his true love, Nancylea Sage. He was deeply dedicated to her for nearly 40 years. 

In 1994 J.T. and Nancylea made their home in Washington state in the town of Enumclaw. 

J.T. is survived by his wife; daughter Lisa Scott of Sagle, Idaho, siblings Shirley Radewan and husband Jim of Theodosia, Pauline Akins of Leadhill, Arkansas, C.W. “Dub” Scott and wife Ethel of Gainesville, Ernie Scott and wife Bretta of Birtch Tree, Albert Scott and wife Sheila of Noble and Frank Scott of Montier; brothers-in-law Larry Sage and wife Nannie, Jim Sage and wife Dennie; and many nieces and nephews.
