George ‘Frankie’ Goodman, 56

Funeral services for George Franklin "Frankie" Goodman, 56, of Gainesville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. A celebration of life will also be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Liberty Hill Church in Hardy, Arkansas.

He died Friday, July 10, at his home. Frank was born June 12, 1970, to George Dexter and Regenia Goodman.

Frankie was a 1988 graduate of Gainesville High School. After high school, he joined the Navy. No matter how far he went, Gainesville was always his home. Frank went on to own and run his successful HVAC business, Goodman Heating & Air Conditioning, for 26 years. He enjoyed the simple life, having coffee and long conversations every morning with his brother and son. Putting his building trade knowledge to use, he built many houses throughout his life.

Those who knew Frank knew him as a jokester and as someone who took pride in his hard work. His greatest joy was continuing his family's legacy by cultivating the land and the family ranch (Isaiah 65:21-23). Frank's children and grandchildren were his whole world. Truly, he was a cherished father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by parents: George Dexter and Regenia Goodman of Ash Flat, Arkansas; sister, Carol Newcomb (Bruce) of Springfield; brothers: Dee Goodman (Angie) of Gainesville and Stanley Goodman (Jessica) of Ash Flat Arkansas; sons: Keith Stott (Shanarra) of Clarkridge, Arkansas, Tristan Goodman (Megan) of Gainesville; daughter, Jasmine Blevins (Ben-Luc) of Gainesville; five beloved grandchildren: Adrian, Elena, Bentley, Oakley and Paisley also many other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
