Dennis Eugene Collins, 70

Graveside services for Dennis Eugene Collins, 70, of Pomona, were held May 13, 2026, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Mr. Collins died at 1:44 a.m., Sunday, May 10, at NHC HealthCare. He was born Feb. 2, 1956, at West Plains, to Cecil Eugene (Gene) Collins and Grace Marie Peart Collins. On Oct. 16, 2003, he was married at Cherokee Village, Arkansas, to Tammy Reed, who preceded him in death on July 23, 2011.  

Dennis was the district sales manager at Coca-Cola for 27 years.  He enjoyed bluegrass gospel music and attending festivals, fishing, hunting, auctions, collecting coins, gun trading and working on tractors. He also enjoyed football and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Dennis loved his family; they were his top priority. He was of the Baptist faith and was saved and baptized at the Oak Grove Baptist Church as a teenager

He is survived by three children: Lane Collins and wife, Micah, of Willard, Andri Kimsey of Kansas City, and Nicki Collins-Tchalassi and husband, Esso, of Omaha, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Dianna "Sissy" Jones and husband, Darrell, of West Plains; one nephew, Jeff Ward; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and his four legged companion, Silas.

His parents, wife and one sister, Carla Ann Hall, preceded him in death.
