Funeral services for Deborah Marie Davis, 59, of West Plains, formerly of Ozark County, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at the United Free Will Baptist Church, 607 Lanton Road in West Plains.
Deborah died Oct. 14 at her residence in West Plains with her husband William by her side.
She was born June 16, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to parents James H. and Sandra Zagroba.
After graduating from high school, Deborah began working for Continental Lawyers Title Company as a word processor in California. It was true divine intervention that she met the love of her life, William, at the church they were both attending in Chula Vista, California. They were married July 26, 1986. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Jacquline, Nathaniel and Charlene. They continued their life in California raising their children and continuing with their work for 25 years. Deborah was a devoted mother and wife.
She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) approximately 30 years ago which forced her to leave her employment. Deborah was a strong lady who battled MS and maintained her faith without wavering.
In 2003, the couple got the chance to relocate to Missouri and have enjoyed being here for the last 20 years.
Deborah is survived by her husband William of 37 years; daughter Jacquline Rhodes of Gainesville; son Nathaniel Davis of Gainesville; daughter Charlene Green of Birch Tree; Deborah’s mother, Sandra Zagroba of Woodbridge, Virginia; two grandchildren: Damien and Asher Rhodes; Deborah’s sister Kimberly Costner and husband Mark of Woodbridge, Virginia.
