Deborah Annette Brakefield, 46

Graveside services for Deborah Annette Brakefield, 46, of Gilmer, Texas,  formerly of Tecumseh, were held March 15, 2022, in the Hopper Cemetery in Montgomery County, Arkansas, with Russell Mace officiating.

Deborah died March 3.

On June 7, 1975, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Willis Eugene Williams Sr. and Francine Annette Smith Williams became proud parents of the precious blue-eyed baby girl. 

On Sept. 3, 2006, she forever changed her name becoming Mrs. Brakefield, marrying the love of her life.  

Deborah was a product manager with United Health Group, where she worked 20-plus years building a career. 

She loved traveling, and the simple things in life brought her joy, things like Sunday BBQs with Mike.  

She was known for her special skillset at finding the impossible bargain. Many are grateful and blessed to know of her love and to love her back. 

She survived by husband Mike Brakefield; mother Francine Williams; two sisters and brother-in-law, Angela Foster and Amy and John Berg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis E. Williams Jr. and Shana Williams and Joey and Amy Williams; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

She is preceded in death by her father.
