Brian Steven Sherrill, 55
Visitation service for Brian Steven Sherrill, 55, of Isabella, will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Ava with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at the Murray Cemetery in Squires. Officiating will be Pastor John Goldman.
He died peacefully Nov. 18, at his home with family by his side.
Brian was born Nov. 8, 1968, in Glendale, Arizona, to Gordon William and Sue (Bishop) Sherrill.
Brian was raised in Douglas County and graduated from Ava High School. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas. Later on, he worked at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, Arkansas, for 10 years.
Brian later became a licensed real estate appraiser, working with his mother, Sue, at Wheeler Appraisal Service in Ava. He also started his own company, Southern Ozarks Appraisals in Gainesville.
On Aug. 10, 2006, Brian and Nathaly Janeth Medina were married in Lima, Peru. Together, they had a daughter, Silvana.
Brian and Nathaly were blessed to have the opportunity to work together.
Brian was a Christian. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and creating leather works. His joy was being with his family.
Brian is survived by his wife, Nathaly; his daughter, Silvana Sherrill; his mother, Sue Wheeler; aunts; uncles; cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Gordon and Caroline Sherrill; his grandparents, Walter and Fern Bishop and Harry Sherrill.
