Brenda Miller, 63

Funeral services for Brenda Miller, 63, of Gainesville, were held April 2, 2022, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville with Gale Wooten officiating. Burial was at the Sallee Cemetery.

She died March 29,  at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 25, 1958, in Leesburg, Virginia to Willis Edward and Ada Mae (Payne) Carbaugh.   

Brenda was a light that shined in even the brightest of places. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and youth minister. 

Her Jesus and her family were her everything - but her family did not consist of those only related by blood. No, any young person who was blessed enough to have Brenda as his or her youth leader were loved as if they were her own. Brenda’s passion was people. 

Her entire being radiated the love of God. Her strength was immeasurable, her faith unshakable and her love was unconditional. She was very loved and will be missed by anyone who was blessed enough to know her.

She is survived by her husband David Miller of the home; children Stephanie Flageolle and husband Jake, Chris Randolph and wife Marisssa, Josh Randolph and partner Haley Gregory; grandchildren Kyna, Kaydence, Tristan, Elijah, Jasmine, Trinity, Naomi and Avery; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; one sister, Sandy Breedlove and husband Charles; one brother Michael Carbaugh and wife Cheryl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Jimmy; two sisters, Carolyn and Clara Mae; and one nephew Larry.
