Ozark County votes tallied for statewide amendment questions

Unofficial election results show that Ozark County voters cast the following ballots for the four amendments on the Aug. 4, 2026, Primary Election ballot. 

 

Amendment 1: Renew the existing sales and use tax of 0.1% for 10 years to fund state parks and soil and water conservation.

Yes: 1,724

No: 669

 

Amendment 2: Require the Jackson County Assessor to be an elected position.

Yes: 1,649

No: 653

 

Amendment 4: Require the majority of voters from each congressional district to approve initiative petitions to amend the constitution.

Yes: 562

No: 1,827

Amendment 5: Phase out individual income tax based on revenue growth and make other tax-related changes.

Yes: 342

No: 2,050
