Highway 160 shoulder work, Lick Creek bridge sealing to begin May 18

Next week MoDOT contractor crews will begin working on Highway 160, making repairs to a job last year in a stretch that runs beginning at Highway 5, south of Gainesville, and running to Highway 101 in Howell County. Crews will also be applying an epoxy seal on the Lick Creek Bridge on Highway 160 in Gainesville.

Weather permitting, work will be underway from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, through Friday, June 17, including weekends as necessary.

Motorists should anticipate a lane reduction with a 10-foot width restriction. As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
