Lutie golfer takes 25th at state tourney

Lutie High School student Emma Shockey competed in the Class 1 Missouri state golf tournament Oct. 16-17 at the Sedalia Country Club. She tied for 25th place out of 95 competitors with a total score of 209 (round one with 108 and round 2 with 101). Shockey was 10 strokes away from all-qualifying state. She is coached by Buck Comstock and Matt Shockey.
