Gainesville FBLA team wins at state

The Gainesville High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) group recently traveled to Springfield for the state conference and several of the students placed in competition.

Justus DeVries placed 4th in Agribusiness (qualifying for nationals), Layla Biby took 8th place in Electronic Career Portfolio and the Parliamentary Procedure team (Wyatt Alms, Camden Evans, Carrie Richer, Jarett Hogan and Gentry Blackburn) captured 8th place.

The students also visited a leadership and college/career expo, attended workshops, toured the MSU College of Business and had some fun time at the mall and dining out during the trip.
