Fellowship of Christian Athletes banquet set for April 20

South Central Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold their annual fundraiser banquet April 20 at Chateau on the Lake near Branson. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the banquet starts at 6:30 p.m. This year’s guest speaker will be college basketball sportscaster Dick Vitale.

The Outstanding Male and Female Christian Athlete of the Year will be presented with a scholarship. The coach of the year will also be honored.

South Central Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes serves five counties and 49 schools to the east and west of its office in Branson, including Barry, Douglas, Ozark, Taney and Stone Counties, as well as the Spokane School District in Christian County. More than 2,500 students, coaches and teachers attend FCA huddle meetings and Bible studies on a weekly basis.
