Vonetta Kelley, 87

Graveside funeral services for Vonetta Kelley, 87, of Gainesville, were held Jan. 23, 2021, at Isabella Cemetery in Isabella with Paul Hillhouse officiating. Mrs. Kelley died Jan. 18 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born May 30, 1933, in Oakland, Arkansas, the daughter of Ray and Della Rhine Hillhouse.

On July 23, 1949, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, she married Herman Kelley. Vonetta was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed going to church and singing. She loved flowers and the beauty of the outdoors. She simply enjoyed life in general. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Eugene Kelley and wife Cari of Cotter, Arkansas, Ronald Kelley and wife Brandi of Flippin, Arkansas, Debbie Kelley and Jim Heath of Wasola, and Robert Kelley of Isabella; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister Genevieve Harper and husband Bobby of Ozark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Kelley, who died in 1996; and two brothers, Hubert Hillhouse and Carl Hillhouse.
