Virginia Merglewski, 87

A graveside memorial service for Virginia Merglewski, 87, of Tecumseh, will be held at a later date.

Merglewski died May 20, 2022, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born August 11, 1934 in Lepanto, Arkansas, to Herman and Gladys (Martin) Harris.

Virginia was a loving mother to three daughters, Donna, Barbara and Charlotte. She loved gardening, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with her dog. She was the best grandma to her grandkids. She loved with a big heart and stern voice. Her family always felt her love, but knew if they got out of line, Virginia would let them know about it. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Virginia is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Hoornstra of Tecumseh; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Gladys Harris; two daughters, Donna Rodgers and Barbara Wallace; and three siblings, Joyce, Sharon and Bill.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
