Thomas Albert Myers, 72

 

Funeral services for Thomas Albert Myers, 72, of Theodosia, were held Oct. 2, 2024, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville. Burial was held Oct. 3, in the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield.

He died on Sept. 27, at his residence. He was born April 13, 1952, in Pensacola, Florida, to Lehman and Francis (Hatch) Myers.

Thomas grew up in Pensacola before joining the military at age 18. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps. After his service to his country, Thomas spent most of his working career as a tool and die maker until his retirement. 

He met Nobuku Higuchi at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado, and the couple were married on Jan. 13, 2018. A year later they moved to the Ozarks and made their home near Theodosia. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycles, and he loved talking about Jesus. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Nobu Myers of Theodosia; two sons: Noah Myers Sr. and wife Janet of Marietta, Georgia, and Joshua Myers and wife Janie of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; seven grandchildren: Noah Myers Jr., James Myers, Christopher Myers, Nathaniel Myers, Kayla Myers, Ethan Myers and Anna Myers.
