Sharon Owen-Cranfill, 77

 

A memorial service for Sharon B. Owen-Cranfill, 77, a longtime resident of Flippin, Arkansas, was held April 27, 2026, at the Flippin Cemetery Pavilion with Doug Parnell officiating.  

She died April 20, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1948, in Quincy, California; Sharon was the daughter of the late Woodson and Edna Belle Owen. She graduated from Flippin High School in 1966, and went on to earn an accounting degree from the vocational technical school in Harrison, Arkansas. On June 21, 1973, she married Gary Kenton Cranfill at the Assembly of God Church in Cotter, Arkansas.  

Sharon was a woman of many talents and creative pursuits; she was a gifted musician, skilled at playing the piano, organ and accordion. Beyond her musical abilities, she was an accomplished cake decorator and found great joy in sewing and crocheting. 

She is survived by her daughters: Woodena (Howard) Mays, Regina Cranfill, Sharleta Cranfill and Roberta Cranfill; grandchildren: Kayla Mays and Richard Mays; and brothers: Dale Owen, Sherrill Blake Owen and Burl Owen. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Cranfill. 

Services in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
