Scott Frank Kosemund, 57

Funeral services for Scott Frank Kosemund, 57, of West Plains, were held Oct. 4, 2025, at Ball Church of Christ at Dora. Burial was at Ball Cemetery.  

Mr. Kosemund lost his battle with bile duct cancer and died at 5:13 p.m., Sept. 25, at his home.  

He was born Feb. 20, 1968, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Frank and Elsie Marie Trail Kosemund. He was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Kosemund was a long-time resident of West Plains. He was a big sports fan. The Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals were his favorite teams.

He is survived by two sisters: Rita Smith and husband Robert and Valdean Kosemund; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins

His parents preceded him in death.
