Rudine Noles Sallee, 99

Funeral services for Rudine Noles Sallee, 99, of Price Place, Arkansas, were held Nov. 22, 2025, at the Frontier Baptist Church in Pontiac with Bruce DeWeese officiating. Burial was at the Price Place Cemetery.

She died at her residence on Nov. 18, 2025, just six days shy of her 100th birthday. She was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Mount Dora, Florida.

She grew up in Sparks, Georgia and went to Brushy Creek, Georgia, schools. She moved to the Ozarks just a couple of years ago to live with her daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law, Mark Jones. She gave Christ Jesus all the praise for her long life and good health. She loved going to church at Frontier Baptist in Pontiac and going to thrift stores and yard sales. Her advice for a long life was to “Confess your sins, get saved and live for Jesus.”

She is survived by four children: Joyce Ann Luna of Bluffton, Arkansas, Darrell Arthur Hicks of Phenix City, Alabama, Barbara Elaine Jones of Price Place, Arkansas, Debra Gail Sobey of Beavercreek, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four children: George Robert “Boots” Jewell, Linda Fay Moore, Betty Darlene Hicks and Kevin Wayne Hicks.
