The son of the late Vanis and Frankie (King) Owens, Bob was born on Aug. 27, 1962, in Lodi, California. Shortly after his birth, Bob and his family moved to Tecumseh.
Bob married Teresa J. Holifield on Sept. 6, 1986.
Bob loved to shoot guns, or really anything that would go bang. He especially loved his beloved fireworks and the resulting smiles he spread every Fourth of July with his firework displays he put on around the local communities. Bob was an avid outdoorsman from a young age, frequently hunting, fishing and enjoying everything the outdoors had to offer. Bob also loved spending time with his family and friends and was never at a loss for something to talk about. Later in life, Bob was very proud of his work in the HVAC field, going to school and learning the trade in his 30s.
Bob attended Mission Square Church with his wife for many years and was baptized, giving his life to the Lord, on Sept. 10, 2023, surrounded by friends and family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Teresa, of their family home in Tecumseh; three children: Josh White of Sebring, Florida, Kyle Owens of Springfield, and Katelyn Owens of Tecumseh; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Bruce Owens (Teresa) of Tecumseh; one brother-in-law, Steve Holifield (Michael) of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; family friends: Ronnie and Susan Howard and their family, and Craig and Sheri Pettit and their family. Bob will be dearly missed by countless others.
