Robert ‘Bobby’ Kinsey, 68

A graveside memorial service for Robert Lynn “Bobby” Kinsey, 68, of Brixey, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at Peak Cemetery in Royal, Arkansas. 

He died Sunday, Dec. 15, at his residence after an evening of spending time with friends and family. He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Vernon and Mary Frances (Brumbly) Kinsey. 

Bobby was raised by his dad, Vernon, and stepmom, Floretta, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 1974. Bobby spent several years in the delivery field with UPS in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Fed-Ex, in Tri Cities, Washington. He retired in 2020 from Fed-Ex in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Bobby was married to Cheryl Cresci, the mother of his two daughters, for 17 years. Bobby married Sheryl Roberts in 2007. He enjoyed being at home on his land with his wife in Brixey. He felt that his three dogs, which showed up at his house, were a blessing from God. 

Bobby loved God and enjoyed talking about God with others. He was loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Kinsey, of the home; two daughters: Ashley (Daniel) Brighton and Melissa Kinsey; two stepchildren: Tony Jensen and Chrissy Reed; and five grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Kinsey; mother, Frances Mary Brumley; and stepmother, Floretta Kinsey.
