Raymond Lee Cutshall, 86

Graveside services for Raymond Lee Cutshall, 86, of Gainesville, were held Nov. 30, 2021, in the Sims Cemetery north of Gainesville. Mr. Cutshall died Nov. 28 at NHC Nursing Home in West Plains.

He was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Fort Collins, Colorado, the son of James H. and Evelyne Swolley Cutshall.

Mr. Cutshall was an Army veteran who served from 1956 to 1958. He loved traveling, camping and being with family. He also loved gardening, farming and hunting. 

He is survived by one sister, Ella May Piland and husband Richard of Gainesville; one brother, Brooks Cutshall of Council Bluffs, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Gene Chisam.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Mae and Fridie; his parents; three brothers, James Cutshall, Bruce Cutshall and Ralph Cutshall; two sisters, Rhodabelle Bailey and Betty Garfit; and many aunts and uncles.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sims Cemetery.
