Oscar William Jimenez, 70

Funeral services for Oscar William Jimenez, 70, of Tecumseh, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at Clinkingbeard Chapel in Gainesville with visitation services from 10 a.m. to service time. 

He died Jan. 12 at Baxter Health in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

Oscar loved life to the fullest and was a great spouse, father, grandfather and friend to many. He loved life on the farm here in Missouri.

He was a former Navy Seal during the Vietnam era ,and he was a hydroelectric plant mechanical foreman upon retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marsha Jimenez; his five children: Kristy, Jennifer, Michael, John and Thomas; two step children: Ryan McGinnis and his wife Julie and Cyndi Stanfill and her husband Michael; 12 grandchildren: Micah, Mariah, Sierra, Josh and his wife Nicole, Boston, Kai, Malia, Glenn, Ariel, Jeremy, Maggie, Elsa, Luke and James; two great grandchildren Jaycob and Levi; his sisters Minerva, Brenda, Hilda and Freda; one brother Orlando; his mother-in-law Frances McGinnis; sister-in-law Melanee and her daughter Emma; a brother-in-law Bryan and many nieces and nephews and many many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Jimenez and his mother Isabel Jimenez.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
