Michael Sartor, 32

Graveside services for Michael Sartor, 32, of Mountain Grove, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Thomas Cemetery with Zach Williams and Josh Haney officiating.
Pallbearers were Danny Sartor, Levi Sartor, Aaron Sigman, Derek James, Jacob Cramer, Brandon Smith, Wayne Davis, Jr., Tyler Saladin, and Gary Dale Bruffett. Honorary Pallbearers were Wesley Sartor III and Ryan Davis.
Burial was in Thomas Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove.
Michael died March 26 following a tragic boating accident on the North Fork River in Ozark County.
He was born July 17, 1989, in Mansfield, the son of Dan and Shirley (Dunlap) Sartor.
Michael always managed to find the humor in most situations. He was carefree and “danger” wasn’t a word in his vocabulary.
Almost anyone who knew him was guaranteed to utter the phrase, “dang it, Mikey,” at least once or twice.
Anytime someone needed something, he would tell them, “no, but thanks for asking,” as he completed the task that he was asked to do. And, on his way out, it was always, “see ya later, bye.”
Michael enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He loved going hunting and fishing and was quite good at it.
He was a hard worker and knew his way around the logging woods.
Michael gave his life to the Lord and was baptized October 6, 2019, at Topaz, Missouri.
Michael is survived by his parents Dan and Shirley Sartor of Mountain Grove, one daughter Haylee Collins of Mansfield, two brothers, Danny Sartor and wife Kelli of Cabool and Levi Sartor of Mountain Grove, one sister Melissa James and husband Derek of Norwood, four nephews: Seth Farris, Connor James, Jacob Cramer and Easton Sartor, three nieces: Audrey James, Alyvia James and Arabelle Jarrett, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
