Mary Ellen Price, 74
Funeral services for Mary Ellen Price, 74, of Mansfield, were held Sept. 11, 2021, in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava with minister Greg Mosely officiating. Mrs. Price died Sept. 8 at her home.
She was born March 17, 1947, in Thornfield, the daughter of Leonard and Bonnie Lawson. On June 11, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, she married Doyle Price.
Mrs. Price was a Christian and attended Coldcreek Cowboy Church.
She enjoyed fishing, reading and doing Suduka puzzles. Her family was most important to her. She loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking them to school and cooking meals for them to enjoy. She was the family genealogist and loved researching family history.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle; children Darin Price and wife Mercede, and Kimberly Price and special friend Mike Burks; sisters Pam Tucker and husband Larry, Rhonda Hawkins and husband Dan, Renee Graham, and Brenda Miller and husband Jim; brothers Maynard Lawson, Roger Lawson and wife Sheryl; grandchildren Aaron Price and wife Robin, Nicholas Price and wife Amber, Morgan Richardson and husband Quintin; great-grandchildren Clayton, Mason, Maverick, CheyAnn, Madilyn, Damian, Rhett and Paislyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Theresa; an infant great-grandson, Grayson: her father- and mother-in-law, Ralph and Eula Price; and her brother-in-law, Marvin Graham.
