Marsha LuAnn Rowden, 65
Marsha LuAnn Hartley Rowden, 65, of Theodosia, died peacefully May 10, 2021, surrounded by her family at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born Sept. 4, 1955, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Glendine Hartley. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1974. On Nov. 21, 1990, in Crocker, Missouri, she married Bruce Rowden, the love of her life.
Mrs. Rowden was a kind and generous soul who would give the shirt off her back if she thought someone needed it. She helped with fundraisers for the local fire department. She was an avid hunter and enjoyed hiking the trails on her property in Theodosia but especially loved her many motorcycle rides with her husband and her animals. She retired from Boyd Garrison Enterprises but was a chef most of her life. She was proudest of her eight grandchildren.
She is survived by Bruce Rowden, her husband of 30 years; her children, Christopher Hartley, Julie Skaar and Heather Rowden; her brothers, Howard Jr. and Jeff Hartley; her grandchildren, Tyler Jarvis, Amanda Hartley, Tyler Griff, Brent Skaar, Maxim Skaar, Kathlene Hartely and Dakotah Hartley; her nephew, Alex Hartley; one sister-in-law, Cindy Hartley; and her many dogs and cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and June Rowden; her two brothers, Steven and Brian Hartley.
Burial will be in at Lutie Cemetery in Theodosia.
