Mark Calvin Gianunzio, 61

A memorial service for Mark Calvin Gianunzio, 61, of Dora, was held Dec. 3, 2022, at Needmore Church of God with Pastor Betty Stanley officiating.

Mr. Gianunzio died Monday, Nov. 21, of injuries sustained in a car crash.

He was born was born May 29, 1961, in Riverside, California, the son of Steven Gianunzio and Loutricia Roberts Gianunzio.

He grew up in the Dora community, having moved here in 1975 with his father and step-mother. He was a graduate of Dora High School and had worked across the country in construction. He was a skilled mechanic and operated a shop in Dora.

He enjoyed working on and driving his roadster, a 1926 Ford Model T; hunting and fishing; and spending time with his sons and his friends.

He had attended Needmore Church of God, as well as Sweeton Pond Church.

He is survived by three sons, Brandon Gianunzio of West Plains, Jaden Gianunzio of Dora and Steve Gianunzio of Dickinson, North Dakota; his brother Matt Gianunzio of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; his former wives, Betty Hoff of Dickinson, North Dakota, and Candace Inman of Dora; several aunts and cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Gianunzio; his brother, Mike Gianunzio; his step-mother, Anita Gianunzio; and grandparents Wilford and Ruth Sanders of Dora.
