Kathy Crawford Farris, 67

 

Funeral services for Kathy Crawford Farris, 67, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, were held Oct. 11, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Mrs. Farris died Oct. 8 at her home.

She was born July 8, 1954, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Louie and Roxie Cowart Crawford. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Clarkridge. For 10 years, she was co-owner/operator of AM&N convenience store on Arkansas Highway 201. She worked in the Mountain Home High School cafeteria for many years and also taught online Bible studies. She loved quilting, sewing, traveling and cooking. 

She was especially known for her “Kathy Farris cinnamon rolls.” She was the type of person who was always looking for opportunities to serve people, from making meals to babysitting children.  

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Farris, of the home; her son, Nathan Farris; two daughters, Amy Britt of Gainesville, and Misty Perry and husband Granville of Clarkridge; 14 grandchildren, Moriah Combs and husband Nate, Larissa Dihel and husband Michael, Lacie Foster and husband Kraig, Jake Britt, Addison, Macy and Karley Farris, Anna Kraft and husband Owen, Dylan, Graham and Jeb Cullipher, Hunter, Alexus and Landon Perry; four great-grandchildren, Lyndee and Kennedy Combs and Farris and Miles Foster; two brothers, Barney Crawford and wife Debbie of Strafford and Louis “Mayor’’ Crawford of Clarkridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

Burial was in Thacker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven, Strafford, MO 65757; The CALL in Baxter County, 800 Highway 201 N., Mountain Home, AR 72653, or to assist any child in need who crosses your path.
