Johnnie Maurice Perkins Carpenter, 76

 

A graveside service for Johnnie Maurice Perkins Carpenter, 76,  of Gainesville, formerly of Craigmont, Idaho, was held Sept. 24, 2021, at White Bird Cemetery in Idaho. Mrs. Carpenter died Sept. 11 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

She was born Aug. 29, 1945, in Los Banos, California, the daughter of Wilbert and Marguerite Maxwell Hill. On March 23, 1967, she married Jimmie Perkins. After his death on May 24, 2000, she met Max Carpenter. They were married June 10, 2009.

Mrs. Carpenter loved Max, cooking, bingo, her car, trips with her friend June, camping, visiting California, road trips with Aunt Judy and most of all, her family. 

She is survived by her husband, Max Carpenter; her children, Ronda Moore and husband Mike, Renee Collins and husband Randy, Robin Carpenter (and Terry Jones) Carpenter, and stepson Frank Carpenter; brother Wilbert Hill and wife Tammy; sisters Judy Hill and Darlene Hill; grandkids Kaila and John Roeller, Cameron and Mariah Moore, Josh and Shay Moore, Kristina and Jeff Masengale, Alaine and Kori Gregory, Jimmie Gregory, Jonnie and Amber Gregory, Kelsey and Colton Hinrichs, James Carpenter and Sirrina Wilson; 17 great-grandkids; many nieces, nephews and many more “greats.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie Dale Perkins; sisters Ester Hill and Patti Hill; brothers Dave Hill, Ronnie Hill, Richard Hill; a grandchild, Kashley Carpenter; and sons-in-law Gregory Knie and Jimmy Carpenter.
