Harold John Griffith, 85

Graveside funeral services for Harold John Griffith, 85, of Tecumseh, were held Feb. 13, 2023, in the Lutie Cemetery in Theodosia with Jim Kyle officiating. 

He died Feb. 9. He was born March 2, 1937, in Long Run. 

Harold graduated from Gainesville High School, then served in the United States Air Force for six years. He returned home and married Sharon (Myers) Griffith on March 1, 1961. 

Harold was a long time dairy farmer in Ozark County. He and Sharon farmed for 27 years and raised their daughter, Lisa (Griffith) Evans. Harold retired at 62 and enjoyed working on old cars, reading westerns and spending time with his grandkids. He was a good neighbor and a devoted husband to his one true love, Sharon. 

Harold is survived by his daughter Lisa (Griffith) Evans and husband David; grandchildren: Seth Evans, Hannah Evans and Sarah Crabtree and husband Caleb and their son Murphy; along with his oldest grandchildren Nathan Evans and Jacob Evans and family. 

Harold was proceeded in death by his wife Sharon; son John Rand Griffith; three brothers and three sisters; and parents, Elmer and Minta Griffith.
