Graveside services for Emma Lou Hunt, 87, of Tecumseh, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at Clear Springs Church on County Road 318 near Dawt with David Evans officiating. Mrs. Hunt died July 30.
She was born March 30, 1934, in Tecumseh, the daughter of Ruel and Lennie Evans.
She loved her family, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Hunt; two sons, Randy Batesel of Tecumseh and Danny Batesel of Caulfield; one daughter, Deborah Batesel of Rogersville; two step-daughters, Carla Crisp and Renee Grider; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Batesel; three brothers, Farris Evans, LeRoy Evans and an infant brother.
