David Wayne Davidson, 67

A celebration of life for David Wayne Davidson, 67, formerly of Gainesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, 2025, at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Chapel in Gainesville, per his wishes.

He died Aug. 4 at Baxter Health in Mountain Home, Arkansas. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his beloved daughters, Samantha and Sandi, his mother, Loretta Davidson, his brother, Gary, his sister, Carolyn, his closest family, and his lifelong and best friend, Kerry.

David drove trucks all over the country for most of his life. That was his calling. When he wasn’t driving, he was racing, fishing or hunting. He loved to go to Colorado in the fall to hunt mule deer.

The family would like everyone to know that he treasured each and every visit he had after coming to Gainesville Healthcare Center. The family wishes to thank all who helped care for David while he was there. They did a wonderful job. A very special thank you to Kerry Robbins, who was there every day and usually more than once a day.
