Christie Jean Lee Vauter, 45

Funeral services for Christie Jean Lee Vauter, 45, of Ava, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes in Ava. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Jones.  

She died June 6 at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Christie was born Dec. 14, 1980, in Wibaux, Montana, to Michael Lee and Anna Lucille (Satterfield) Jones. Christie was a Christian. Christie and Jack Vauter were united in marriage on April 19, 2008, in Douglas County.  

Christie enjoyed camping, scrapbooking, taking walks and spending time outdoors. She loved spending time with her family. 

Christie is survived by her husband Jack; four children: Jenna Marie Vauter, Alex Warren Yeary, Deegan Jack Vauter and Morgan Elizabeth Yeary; siblings: Sondra Lee McCord and Robert Dwane Lee Jones; and many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.  

Christie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Carol Jones.
