Brandon “Kent” Suter, 66
Funeral services for Brandon “Kent” Suter, 66, of Gainesville, were held Jan. 23, 2024, at Mammoth Assembly of God Church. Burial was at Howard’s Ridge Cemetery.
He died on Jan. 18. Kent was born April 6, 1957, in Angleton, Texas, to Leo and Johnalee (Crawford) Suter.
Kent had many lines of work including iron working in multiple states, farming, truck driving and owning the Suter Gun & Pawn Shop. He had seen quite a bit of the United States during his working career.
Kent had three sons: Brandon, Cole and Shane. He enjoyed many hobbies with them which consisted of hunting, fishing or anything involving the outdoors. He really enjoyed spending time with family and his grandkids. He had a big heart and loved seeing the grandkids’ smiling faces.
Kent is survived by brother Mark and wife Rhonda Suter of Gainesville; son Brandon Robbins and children Riggs and Byron, of Texas; son Cole and wife Kristy Suter and children Connor, Lance and Timber, of Squires; son Shane and wife Sara Jo Suter and children Corbin, Ellis, and Nolan, of Theodosia; and many nieces and nephews.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Johnalee Suter; nephews John Suter and Seth Suter.
Donations in memory of Kent can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Howards Ridge Cemetery.
