Three injured after UTV driver doing donuts crashes

Last weekend three Sikeston residents were injured in a UTV crash on Highway 160 in Ozark County, about 10 miles east of Gainesville. Interestingly enough, that crash occurred at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, July 18, the same time as the motorcycle vs. car crash on H Highway near Dora described in the article above.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report, a 54-year-old Sikeston man was doing donuts in the middle of Highway 160 in a 2025 Polaris Razor 1000S Turbo UTV when the vehicle flipped. Three passengers were injured including one 50-year-old woman, one 55-year-old woman and one 57-year-old man. 

The injuries of the two women are described as “moderate” in the report, and they were transported by Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.  The man’s injuries are listed as “minor,” and he told officials he would seek his own medical treatment. 

All individuals were wearing safety devices, the report says. It is unknown if the driver has insurance.
