Nina Stehle, 91

Funeral services for Nina Stehle, 91, of Theodosia, were held April 2, 2024, in the Salem General Baptist Church in Ocie with Don Yarger officiating. Burial was in the Lutie Cemetery in Theodosia.

Nina died March 28, at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born March 4, 1933, in Ocie, to Claude and Flossie (Hampton) Cole. 

Nina married Arthur Russell Stehle on May 3, 1952, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. They raised two sons on their dairy farm on Big Creek in Ocie. She graduated from Gainesville High School and was a member of Salem General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Arthur; sons: Rocky Stehle and his wife Jan and Richard Stehle and his wife Jo; grandsons: Shane Stehle and Tate Stehle and his wife Lauren; and great-granddaughters: Kamryn Grace Stehle and Kaylee Jo Stehle.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Flossie Cole; sisters Vada Herd, Alma Rhoads and Ama Pelham and brother Bill Cole.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutie Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
