Mansker charged with burglarizing multiple boats at Theodosia, Isabella

Trevor Mansker

Trevor Mansker, 20, of Thornfield, is scheduled to appear in court before Associate Judge Raymond Gross at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 29 for a preliminary hearing. He is charged with two felonies, property damage and burglary.

According to the probable cause statement paired with other information the OCSD released, Sheriff’s Lt. Matt Rhoades was dispatched to the Gainesville Dollar General where Mansker was reportedly at at the time. The suspect was wanted in a string of burglaries at stores as well as boats and docks on Bull Shoals Lake at Isabella and Theodosia.

One of the boat owners who called in to report that his boat was broken into said that he had a photo from a game camera that he had setup, and he thought he had a possible identification of one of the people pictured. The officer approached Mansker about the allegations, and he reportedly told the officer that he was ready to turn himself in and cooperate with the investigation.

Mansker reportedly admitted to breaking into the docks and stealing a list of items. He said two other individuals were also involved. The other two took most of the stolen items with them, he reportedly said, but Mansker described in detail a list of items that matched those that were reported stolen.

Several of the items were found in his truck. He admitted to breaking into several boats with the intention of stealing items, and he said he sold most of them for cash.

The investigation is ongoing. Multiple stolen items are still outstanding as well as at least two additional suspects. If anyone has any information on the suspects, location of any of the stolen items, or discovers that their boat was broken into, please contact Lieutenant Rhoades at 417-679-4633.
