Bulldogs ranked 5th in state

The Gainesville baseball Bulldogs put 28 runs on the board in two games last week, beating Hartville and Conway to move to 13-4 on the year with the district tournament less than a month away.
The Bulldogs are now ranked 5th in the state in Class 2 competition and have outscored their opponents 160-95 this season.
Gainesville’s only losses came in March in the Clever tournament against Clever and Lebanon and on April 15 against Licking and Forsyth.
The Bulldogs are set to host Thayer on Thursday and Fordland Friday.
