Catherine Parisi, 74

Catherine Parisi, 74, of Gainesville died Feb. 20, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. No local services are planned at this time. The family will have a celebration of life for Catherine at later date. 

She was born October 7, 1947, in Clinton, Iowa to Johnny and Dorothy (Wagner) Oldsen.

Catherine grew up in Iowa. She raised her family in both Iowa and Missouri. She recently moved to the Ozarks and has been a resident of Gainesville for the past couple of years.  She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Dorothy Oldsen. 

She is survived by her four children Kimberly Barenthin of Gainesville, Tina McClary of Goodland, Kansas, Carol Goebel of Nebraska City, Nebraska and Betsy Eaton of Gainesville; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters Joan Peacock of Dayton, Ohio and Patricia Osbourn of California.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
