Debra Diane James, 70

A funeral service for Debra Diane James, 70, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, was held Jan. 8, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Pastor Ron Felker officiating. Burial was at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery. 

Debra died Jan. 4, in Mountain Home. She was born Jan. 3, 1952, in Transylvania, Louisiana, the daughter of Robert and Dixie Girod Griffin. 

She married Daniel James in 1990 in Clarkridge, and worked for Champion Boat Company and Affordable Insurance Company. 

Debra lived in Arkansas for 40 years, since moving from Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Mammoth Assembly of God Church in Ozark County. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. 

Debra is survived by her husband; daughter, Nikki Long and husband Jack of Branson; son, Mike Flowers and wife Jennifer of Mountain Home; two brothers, Randy Griffin of Harlen, IA, and Robert Griffin and wife Jackie of Mountain Home; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Debra’s memory to the Twin Lakes Shrine Club.
