Jeanne Chambers, 43

 

A celebration of life service for Jeanne Lenora Chambers , 43, of Theodosia, will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 21, 2022, at The Bridge Church in Theodosia.

She died  Dec. 14, 2021, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

She was born March 2, 1978, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Thomas and Jean Weaver.

She graduated from Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego, California, in 1996. 

On Jan. 19, 2002, in San Diego she married Daniel Chambers. They lived in Julian, California before moving to Theodosia in 2011. The couple had five children Dakoda Richards, Haley Cornelison, Degan Chambers, Dalton Chambers and Kendelle Chambers.

Jeanne loved people and working to help them. Her career included working with a group of mentally disabled individuals in California. When she moved to Theodosia, she began working for Ozark Action, helping those in the community who could benefit from the organization’s services. 

Jeanne was an avid animal lover and a great mom to her children. Daniel said she was the best wife and friend he could have asked for or imagined. She was a true joy to be around, as anyone who spent time with her could testify. 

Jeanne knew the Lord and is no doubt in Heaven smiling down on all of us, family members say.

She enjoyed tending to her many animals, hanging out with her family and helping anyone and everyone with whatever they needed. 

Survivors include her husband Daniel Chambers; her children Dakota Richards (currently serving in the Navy), Haley Cornelsion and husband Kyle of Fordland, Degan Chambers and wife Skyler of Gassville, Arkansas, and Dalton and Kendelle Chambers, both of Theodosia; sister Marie Brace and husband John; brother Bob Weaver and wife Marie; sister Ruth Weaver and in-laws Molley and Emory Richards. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Weaver Jr. 

Memorial contributions may be made at the celebration of life ceremony.
