New floral and gift shop opens in Old Ford Market, grand opening celebration is Saturday

Bouquet Palace, a floral market “and more,” will host a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at its new location in the Old Ford Market building on the west side of the Gainesville square.

Heather Duggins will manage the new store, which is a secondary location to her parents’ Bouquet Palace store in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Duggins has 18 years of experience and is a nationally certified floral designer and a master florist in Arkansas. Bouquet Palace will feature a “grab and go” cooler filled with ready-made floral arrangements.

The store will also offer custom-made floral designs, house plants and succulent gardens, as well as a full-service floral options for wedding, funeral and special occasion needs. The shop sells clothing and shoes, spa items, candles, seasoning packets and other gift items.

Duggins says her family loves to work with local artists and gardeners, and a lot of the items in the shop are made by people who live in the area. She welcomes those who have locally made items or locally grown flowers to come into the shop and talk with her about using them.

She offers delivery for a small fee, depending on distance. Duggins says she’s also interested in potentially hosting classes at the shop or in other locations in Ozark County, as she does in Mountain Home.
